Challenge
Design a visual identity for the 2025 BFA Senior Exhibition at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Including a poster, postcard and gallery wall decal. The design must serve as an exciting reflection of the University’s Visual Arts Department, while maintaining a dignified and inclusive appearance that represents the diversity of the artists and works featured in the show.
Execution
A concept centered around the five senses—and a sixth sense, creativity—was developed. Dynamic panels hold imagery representing each sense, unified by a refined monochromatic color scheme. A wordmark with custom typography was designed to fit seamlessly within its panel and features a simplified wall frame. Texture, erratic lines, and the addition of a bold red create striking contrast. Much like energetic graduating artists standing out from the academic setting.
